The materials on this website help you to review or create your own scheme of work for RE, in line with the requirements of Awareness, Mystery and Value (AMV).

AMV has now been revised for schools in Somerset and North Somerset, taking effect from September 2004. Schools in Bath & North-East Somerset are continuing to use the 1998 edition of AMV, though a review will be conducted in the coming year.

In the 2004 revised version of the Agreed Syllabus the AMV attainment targets and areas of enquiry have been switched around to match DfES and QCA non-statutory guidance.

All the materials on this site have been approved by Somerset and North Somerset LEAs as recommended by the Standing Advisory Councils on RE (SACRE)s.
